Well!!  The second half of the show!! 🙂  Weldon and the guys opened for Asleep at the Wheel, then came out and entertained us!!  We were happy…..both for his good luck at getting that awesome opening gig AND for still coming to see us. 🙂

One of these days we’ll get a good picture of Trey when he isn’t either making a fighting face at us or sleeping on the job. 🙂

Weldon Henson was booked to play when he got a call to open for Asleep at the Wheel at The Broken Spoke. Well, he knew we loved good ol’ country and got Jenn to open for HIM at the Stardust. What fun!!

We’d been wanting to go see Jenn and the band, but never quite worked out until tonight.

Lost John was NOT lost this night. So much fun!! Love that country swing sound!! Danny sat in on bass and the night was very interesting for him since he hadn’t ever played most of these songs! But he did a great job and fit in well with John, Woz, and Mike!
